Jason Ferguson
Caesars Entertainment, the world’s largest casino corporation, announced that 37 of its US-based casinos would carry a new progressive slot machine game based on the popular movie “The Hangover” starting this summer. In the film, four friends celebrate a bachelor party on the Las Vegas Strip while staying at Caesars Palace.
The slot machine game will include bonus games with characters from the movie: Doug (Justin Bartha), Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms) and Alan (Zach Galifianakis). The game will also feature quotes from “Mr. Chow” (Ken Jeong) that will add to the wild and crazy atmosphere, which includes mini-games based on the “Stun Gun” and “Wedding Chapel” scenes from the film
Katrina Lane, Caesars Entertainment chief technology officer, said that the partnership between the casino giant and the movie studio to create the game came naturally. "Caesars Palace was one of the stars of the original movie, so we were sure it would excite our guests to have their first chance to play this entertaining new slot machine at our casinos."
Eric Tom, CEO of game developer IGT, said that “The Hangover” game would include all the “wild antics” of the film. "The game has all the characters, sayings and memorable moments from the movie that helped to make it such a hit on screen.”
“The Hangover Part II” will be in US movie theaters on 26 May. “The Hangover” slot machine game will be available in Caesars Entertainment casinos around the US in June.
