Earlier this year, the online casino software development house Microgaming announced that it would soon launch a line of 3D slot machine games. Now, the popular online game designer has finally released a 3D version of its popular "Sterling Silver" online slots game, marking an exciting event in the world of online casinos.

 

 

The new game simulates the feeling of watching 3D blockbuster movie on the silver screen. Players will wear stereoscopic glasses to enjoy the 3D special effects and see them highlighted on their computer monitors. The numerous online casinos serviced by Playtech, including Europalace and Betway, will provide their players with the special glasses that will help them enjoy the show.

 

 

In a press conference to launch the game, operators at the Jackpot City online casino stated that the game would provide an innovative and fun environment for long-time online slots players. The standard 2D version of the game is already among the most popular in the Microgaming lineup. 

 

 

The game also represents a step away from simply emulating the feel of a brick-and-mortar casino game. Instead of attempting to copy a standard slot machine game found in most casinos, the 3D Sterling Silver game, according to its developers, will give players a new experience never seen before in a slots game, either live or online.
