PokerStars 2011 WCOOP Schedule Is Big

PokerStars announced the finalized schedule for its 2011 PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP), which will take place September 4 to 25.

A total of 62 events are included in the three week event - a big draw in and of itself - but the even bigger draw is the $30 million in guaranteed prizes PokerStars will be handing out.

The 2011 WCOOP Main Event will award a total of $5 million to those at the final table. Its winner will receive at least $1 million.

The first three events on deck are a $15 no-limit holdem six-maximum event, a $10,300 no-limit holdem high roller, and a $215 no-limit holdem standard event.

Buy-ins for the event are varied, from a reasonable $109 to $10,300 for the high-roller contests.
