WSOPE Main Event Prize Pool Announced

Promoters of the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) have announced the main event prize pool. The top player will win €1.4 million ($1,924,806) as well as the coveted title and bracelet, with money finishers in places 2 – 64 taking home between €20K and €800K.

 

 

The big rewards come courtesy of 593 players who each ponied up the €10,400 buy-in to create a €5,692,800 prize pool.

 

 

At last year´s contest, winner James Bord bested 345 others to take home the win and £830,401. The roughly 75% field increase over last year means the payoff is bigger, but claiming it is tougher.
