Two years ago, Playtech Software purchased Gaming Technology Solutions Limited (GTS). This month, Playtech begins deploying its newest GTS games across all of its sites.
The first three new GTS games are Medusa's Gaze (slot), Wheel of Light (arcade) and Video Roulette.
The news of the joint Playtech / GTS effort broke last week. In a December 1 Twitter post, Playtech-powered Winner Casino announced that it was going live with the games.
Fellow Playtech casino, Titanbet.com, launched the games on its Titan Casino site one month earlier, but few news outlets took note. However, industry speculation that the two Playtech-run companies would deploy new and existing GTS games to their casino clients ran (and is still running) high.
Back in 2009, GTS's Business Development Director, Steven Matsell, had this to say about Playtech's acquisition of the company: “GTS’s strategy is very much in line with Playtech’s – to be the recognised market leader as a dedicated B2B software provider.”
The deployment of GTS games across all Playtech platforms would be a solid step towards making good on that “market leader” promise. Should it happen, we will see Medusa's Gaze slot machine, Wheel of Light arcade game, Video Roulette and other Playtech / GTS games at such notable betting sites as Europa Casino and Casino Tropez.
