Hand \u2013<\/b>\u00a0The five cards dealt to each player.\u00a0This term may also refer to one complete round of Caribbean Stud Poker.<\/div>\n

Hole Cards \u2013<\/b>\u00a0Cards that are dealt and remain face down.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
House \u2013<\/b>\u00a0This refers to the casino in which you are playing.<\/div>\n

House Edge \u2013<\/b>\u00a0The long-term advantage that the casino has at each specific game.<\/div>\n

Maximum \u2013<\/b>\u00a0The maximum amount of money that you may wager on any single hand of Caribbean Stud Poker.\u00a0Minimums may vary between casinos and even tables.<\/div>\n

Misdeal \u2013<\/b>\u00a0This occurs when the dealer gives an incorrect number of cards to any player or themselves.\u00a0If players receive a misdeal then the hand is void and must be redealt.\u00a0If the dealer receives a misdeal then they simply deal themselves the missing card.<\/div>\n

Pair \u2013<\/b>\u00a0Two cards of the same value (ex: two Jacks).\u00a0This is the lowest possible combination acknowledged in Caribbean Stud Poker, and it pays 1:1.<\/div>\n

Payout \u2013<\/b>\u00a0The winnings that each player is entitled to in any given hand.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Players \u2013<\/b>\u00a0Paying participants at any Caribbean Stud Poker table.<\/div>\n

Progressive Feature \u2013<\/b>\u00a0This is a secondary betting option that Caribbean Stud Poker players have at some tables.\u00a0They have the option of placing an additional chip in a special betting area, and if they receive a certain combination in that hand then their original progressive bet entitles them to an increased payout.\u00a0Players that receive a Royal Flush will get the entire progressive jackpot.<\/div>\n

Strategy \u2013<\/b>\u00a0A method of play designed to increase a player’s chances of winning.<\/div>\n

Stud Poker \u2013<\/b>\u00a0A type of poker game in which there is a combination of face up and face down cards.\u00a0Each player’s hand is unique (there are no shared cards) and players do NOT have the option to draw new cards.<\/div>\n
